- The main attractions of the region are in Barcelona. It is the capital of the region from where you can reach other cities such as Girona, Tarragona or cities on the coast (you can get everywhere by train or bus).
- If you are landing at Barcelona airport late at night or departing early in the morning, you may have trouble getting to and from the coastal cities (or it will be expensive). It is worth considering when planning an overnight stay outside the Barcelona area.
- The beaches in Barcelona, although there are 8 of them, are very crowded (they are also not very clean). If you care about a lot of space and golden sand, because, for example, you have children, consider accommodation on the coast or in the vicinity.
- The average price of a hotel in Barcelona is approx. 105 euros per night (2 people). However, you can find deals much cheaper and of course more expensive.
